Senior Division Services
The Town of Irondequoit's division of Senior Services serves retired residents and those age 50 and over. A variety of activities and programs are offered. Irondequoit Cable Access Television - ICAT (Government Access - Channel 1303, previously ch. 12 and Public Access - Channel 1301, previously ch. 15) gives information on our current activities, and the monthly calendar of events provides details of specific events.
Transportation to the Nutrition Program (Mon. - Fri.)
Medical Motor Service in Irondequoit provides transportation for non-drivers at $2.00 per day. Reservations are required for transportation. Call 336-6077 before 9 a.m.
Meals
Nutritious meals served Monday to Friday at the Irondequoit Senior Center beginning at 11:15 a.m. for $3.50/person suggested contribution. Please call 336-6077 to reserve a meal.
Irondequoit Home Improvement Program (I.H.I.P.)
The Irondequoit Home Improvement Program (I.H.I.P.) is funded by the Federal Community Development Block Grant Program. Under this program, based on your income you may be eligible for a subsidy that will pay up to $4,500 of your home repair and improvement costs.

Medical Equipment Loans
Walkers, canes (regular and quad), commodes, risers, shower seats, crutches and some small medical items. Wheelchairs are loaned for two months with a refundable deposit of $50.00 if brought back on time and in the same condition it was loaned. For more information or to donate equipment call 336-6077.
